Status: AetherMUD is not live. This list is from an earlier FluffOS / Nightmare III mudlib (dated 2026-07-23) and will be rewritten. It is a provisional snapshot, not a current playable roster, and in-game help races is not available today.

62 races were listed in that mudlib's code.
In that design, race set attribute dice, MDC vs SDC, innate magic/psionics, and world treatment.
RCCs (Racial Character Classes) took no class; see Classes.
