Status: AetherMUD is not live. It will run on AMLP, a from-scratch LPC driver still in active development. The mudlib will be rewritten once the driver is finished. Bring your own MUD client; there will not be a browser web client.

Use whatever MUD client you already prefer. Mudlet and ordinary telnet both work when a server is actually listening.
The previous mudlib used colorize for ANSI color after login. That command is not available today.

Intended stack: a TTRPG-inspired MUD on AMLP. The pages linked below still describe an earlier FluffOS / Nightmare III mudlib and are provisional.
Starting zones (previous chargen): Chi-Town, Splynn, New Camelot.
Counts from that mudlib (2026-07-26 snapshot): 62 races, 66 classes, 114 spells, 51 psionics, 157 skills, 449 rooms, 175 mortal commands. These will change in the rewrite.
That mudlib's custom prompt supported MDC/SDC/PPE/ISP pool tokens.
